I used to adore Lotus Organizer when at work. On retirement, I left aside because I was taking care of my mother until she left us.I tried to install and run it, it did not work. Called Microsoft but the person did not understand my question neither had interest in helping. So, I hope that someone can shed the light on how could I run the program. Last time, if I remember clearly,I used Windows Professional XP. Now I have Windows 10 with Microsoft Edge.I was able to run it but it cannot import my contacts from Microsoft 365/Office 2016. I tried to run Control Panel Programs Programs & Features Run programs made from previous versions of Windows!
I got a lot of hope but; unfortunately, it did makeit work at all.The other problem is that Lotus Organizer has been discontinued and IBM has a notes program that is not the same. They also had an upgrade (ver. 6.1) that shows as 'free' upgrade. I tried to upgrade it but got tons of malware. In other words, the developeris out of the picture!!I'd sincerely appreciate if someone run into the same situation and found a solution.Thanks in advanceSusana.
Good evening Arun B J,Thank you very much for your prompt reply.I did what you asked; except that I did not download software from manufacturer's site as IBM has discontinued it. I have the disk so I followed your instructions, went to setup and selected Properties. Selected Compatibility tab but the most recent availablewas Windows 8. I tried that and the software did not install correctly. It does not have a step where I could check mark 'run this program in compatibility mode' because, I guess, there is none with Windows 10.Any other ideas?
